Tour operators for Cambodia
Cambodian Travel Partners
Verena and Tobias traveled 2014 a week with Cambodian Travel Partners from Siem Reap to Kracheh and Ratanakiri in northern Cambodia and from there to Phnom Penh. Although there is only few of wheelchair accessible accommodation in Cambodia, it was quite manageable. The two owners Lily (a Cambodian) and Andre (a Dutchman living in Cambodia for over 10 years) gave their best to find suitable accommodation and transport for us. Besides the good price-performance ratio and the pleasant attitude we were also convinced by their sustainable economic and social engagement in the region (as you can see at the Lily Foundation). Lily and Andre will offer you a suitable tour for your needs – through one of the most beautiful countries of Southeast Asia.

Tour operators for Kenia und Tanzania
Go Africa Safaris & Travel
In spring 2013 Verena and Tobias took a week-long safari in the north-east of Tanzania followed by a beach holiday in Zanzibar. Go Africa Safaris & Travel is specialized for many years on disabled travellers. The Jeep for game viewing is modified, so that you can enter it in a wheelchair, even a power connection is available. Most units have barrier-free rooms – one night in a tent camp was a real adventure. But even there they provided a 24-hour power supply with car batteries for me and the comfort was surprisingly good. The staff of the tour operator is well prepared for the special needs of disabled people.
